In 2010 I began an exploration of landscapes. The first series was based on understanding the most simple concept in of our relationship with land around us; the horizon line. Growing up rural surroundings, I was always away of the horizon line, dotted with farm houses and woods, silos and power lines. Ever present, it provided a comforting boundry to my world.
Building on those concepts, the current series is an exploration of perspective and open space with the juxtaposition of synthetic architecture, that while familiar and iconic is subject to memory and the dream-like filters of time and distance.
